Earth friendly, natural sea sponge. Hand harvested, renewable, biodegradable. This sea sponge will gently exfoliate, invigorate and help awaken your skin.

St. Gabriel's Natural Sea Sponges are hand harvested in the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Keys, and the Caribbean. The divers carefully cut the sponge, leaving the base behind to promote more efficient re-growth. Natural sponges grow at an average of 2 inches per year.

Sea wool sponges are natural, biodegradable, and sustainable, offering benefits such as gentle exfoliation for smoother skin, natural antibacterial properties, hypoallergenic qualities for sensitive skin, and the ability to create a rich lather with less soap. These sponges are also rich in minerals, absorb water well, and provide a luxurious, eco-friendly alternative to synthetic sponges.
Skincare & Cleansing Benefits
  • Gentle exfoliation:
Their soft, porous texture helps remove dead skin cells, dirt, and impurities, promoting cell renewal and revealing smoother, more radiant skin.
  • Natural antibacterial properties:
Sea sponges contain enzymes and minerals that naturally inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew, keeping the skin clean.
  • Hypoallergenic:
They are naturally hypoallergenic, making them safe and ideal for all skin types, including those with sensitive or acne-prone skin.
  • Rich lather:
The unique structure of a sea wool sponge allows it to absorb a large amount of water, producing a thick, creamy lather with less soap or body wash.
  • Mineral-rich:
Sea sponges contain beneficial minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc, which are good for the skin.
  • Improved circulation:
The massaging action of the sponge during bathing stimulates blood flow, which can deliver nutrients and oxygen to the skin cells and promote a fresh appearance.
